Software Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer you are involved in understanding software product features and relevant domain knowledge, writing test plans and specifications, automated and manual execution of tests and the interpretation of results. Your role is integral to the creation and maintenance of quality products.

What will you do?

  • Carry out manual QA testing and exploratory testing where required.
  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate external and in-house testing activities.
  • Produce user acceptance criteria with matching end-to-end automated tests.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Assist in producing relevant software documentation.
  • Reproduce and triage bugs.


  • Minimum 2 years software quality assurance experience.
  • Be able to write automated testing scripts.
  • Be able to read high level programming languages.
  • Be able to read debug logs.
  • Being a team player and willing to mentor juniors

Nice to have

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with continuous integration tools (CI).
  • Be able to read low level programming languages.
Docker / Kubernetes DevOps Engineer

InTheCyber Group, a leading organisation in Cyber Defense, Cyber Security and Intelligence, with headquarters in Lugano and Milan, boasting a team of experts in both Offensive and Defensive Security, is looking for a Docker / Kubernetes DevOps Engineer!


  • Designing, implementing and improving build and release pipelines
  • Helping the teams with CI/CD setup for automated testing, infrastructure provisioning, production releases
  • Identifying, implementing and improving automation
  • Making sure environments adhere to standards and policies, are kept clean and efficient
  • Troubleshooting and fixing issues
  • Code delivery & review. 

Mandatory Skills:

Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, Python, Docker, Containerization, Ansible; 


  • 2+ years of Docker Enterprise implementation and administration experience 
  • 2+ years of experience using infrastructure automation technology (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.) 
  • 2+ years of Kubernetes experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the following:

  • Linux administration
  • Full-stack development experience
  • Agile methodology

Place of work: 75% remote – 25% Milan


The resource will join a young, dynamic and flexible team of experts in the field and will be responsible for:

  • Performing infrastructural and web / mobile applications penetration tests
  • Simulation of social engineering campaigns
  • Producing complete and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and managerial audiences


Verified experience in Infrastructure Penetration testing activities

  • Verified experience in web and/or mobile application Penetration Test activities
  • Very good knowledge of development, extension or modification of exploits, shellcode and C&C
  • Very good knowledge of network protocols
  • Very good knowledge of Unix/Linux/Mac/Windows operating systems, including bash and Powershell

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Certifications such as OSEP, OSWE, OSED, CREST
  • Successful participation in Bug Bounty and CTF programmes or Penetration Testing Labs

The ideal candidate has:

  • Passion for Offensive Security
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad
  • Good communication skills, ability to work in a team, accuracy, organisational autonomy

Previous experience in the role of at least one year is required
